Tottenham Didn't have it Easy at Crystal palace.

Tottenham travel to south London on Saturday knowing a win will keep them up to pace with the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool before their respective matches but it wasn't about to get any easier.
It was end to end in the early stages of the contest where neither side was not able to enjoy a passage of play. It was crystal palace with the better chances in the first fifteen minutes in an error prone first half mostly down to the wet conditions. As the game grew on, Tottenham began to play much better but it was goalless at the break with few goalmouth actions.
At the half hour mark, Tottenham began to assert control on proceedings but it was not long before the breakthrough as Foyth who gave away two penalties last week, got on the score sheet and gave Tottenham the lead. He became the third Argentinian to score for spurs in the premier league.
Palace applied the pressure in the latter stages of the match but Tottenham held on to secure an important win to pull within two points of Manchester City at the top of the table.
