Ashley Cole will return to Chelsea to take charge of the Under-15s
Ashley Cole has confirmed he will be returning to his former club Chelsea to take up a coaching role.
Cole, who recently announced his retirement from professional football, has revealed he will return to Stamford Bridge to work under his former team-mate Frank Lampard and take up the role as Under-15s coach.
Acting as a guest of UEFA for theEuropa League draw in Monaco on Friday, Cole outlined that it was time for him to enter the next chapter of his career.
'I've worked under some great managers, took a lot from them so I will go back to Chelsea and work with their under-15s and see where it goes from there,' said the former England international.
After coming through the youth ranks at Arsenal, he made a controversial switch to rivals Chelsea in 2006 before finishing his career with spells at Roma, LA Galaxy and finally Derby at the end of last season.
