Burnley vs Chelsea: Match facts

1) Chelsea have lost one of their 10 Premier League games against Burnley (six wins, three draws), a 2-3 defeat at Stamford Bridge on the opening day of 2017/18.

2) The Blues have won four of their five Premier League away games against Burnley, scoring at least twice in each victory.

3) The blues are unbeaten at Turf Moor since losing there in April 1983 in the Second Division.

4) The Blues last lost a top-flight encounter at Turf Moor in August 1973 when they were beaten by an 80th-minute Frank Casper goal.

5) Chelsea are hoping for a seventh successive win in all competitions for the first time since April/May 2017.

6) Frank Lampard’s side have the third best away record in the Premier League this season with nine points from four games. Liverpool (13) and Man City’s (12) points total are from five matches.

The Blues have netted 19 goals in the Premier League this term with only Man City (29) and Liverpool (21) scoring more.

8) Lampard is looking to win four successive league games for the first time in his managerial career, with the Blues last winning four Premier League games in a row in September 2018 (during Maurizio Sarri’s first five in charge of the club).

9) Chelsea are unbeaten in our past 13 Premier League games against ‘non big-six’ teams, since a 0-2 loss at Everton in March (nine wins, four draws).

10) Lampard’s playing record for Chelsea against Burnley was two wins and one draw.
