The 31-year-old has long been admired by Barcelona, who scouted him during his Shakhtar Donetsk days and reportedly made enquires as to his availability on several more recent occasions while in England.
Now Catalan daily Mundo Deportivo(MD) report that with the January transfer window fast approaching, Barça are yet again considering a move for Willian.

The report claims that despite being the wrong side of 30, Willian has impressed with his continued output at Chelsea and Barcelona are attracted by the possibility of signing a player they were recently quoted €80m for on a free deal for the end of the season.

It is noted that Willian was Ernesto Valverde's first-choice target in 2018, but after being told of his price tag, Barça hierarchy instead signed younger option Malcom - who has since moved onto Zenit St Petersburg.
