Zola: Sarri’s training methods bored Chelsea Players

Former Chelsea Assistant Coach Gianfranco Zola who assisted Manager Sarri during his rein at Stamford Bridge in the 2018/2019 season said players like hazard and willian got bored by the italian’s training methods.

Zola claimed those methods clearly did the squad favours as when other teams were slipping up, the blues were on fire until the end.

SOCCER PUNCH learnt what Gianfranco Zola to BeIN Sports, and he is quoted as saying:  "They were talented players, like Hazard and Willian, players who know how to win games on their own, but they were suffering from the type of exercises and type of training we were doing - but it was necessary for the others.

"I'll be honest, they were brilliant because they got bored, but they kept doing it throughout and that was the reason why when everyone was dropping we were going up towards the end."
