Two players from two premier league sides have tested positive for coronavirus in the latest round of testing.

1,200 tests were performed between June 11 and June 12 ahead of the Premier league’s resumption next Wednesday.

Norwich City have come out to say that one of the individuals is from their club and he/she has entered self isolation for the next seven days.

A Statement from the canaries read as SOCCER PUNCH could confirm:  "In line with the Premier League’s protocols, the player will now self-isolate for a period of seven days before being tested again at a later date.

"The player must return a negative test result before being able to resume training.

"The club will not name the player in question and asks that his request for privacy and confidentiality are respected at this time."

SOCCER PUNCH can also confirm that the Tottenham squad who played Canaries days ago won’t enter self isolation.
