Nagelsmann: “It’ll be difficult replacing werner”

Now that Timo werner’s deal to Chelsea is also a done deal, Manager Julian Nagelsmann has admitted it will be very difficult to replace his star forward when he eventually leaves for Stamford Bridge.

Werner has scored 31 goals in 41 outings this season and Nagelsmann knows his worth and stellar contribution to the Liepzig cause.

SOCCER PUNCH can confirm what the 32 year old told Goal and DAZN which read:  "It's not possible [to replace him], you can't clone a player. If Timo Werner leaves us, the main thing would be to replace 34 goals a season.

"That would be the main task, which perhaps could not be solved by just one player. It is important that we get the same output at the end of the day, that is the complex thing about the topic."
