Arteta saw lighter side of Aubameyang trophy drop

Pierre-emerick Aubameyang scored twice to down Chelsea in the FA cup final on Saturday evening.

With no one able to hand the trophy to Arsenal captain Aubameyang, he had to carry it himself to his excited teammates but he dropped it much to the disbelief and humour of those watching on.

However, Mikel Arteta saw the lighter side of the trophy drop.

"It can happen, I think it happened a few years back as well,"

"He needs more experience with trophies! We can get him used to that."

Rob holding also knew that Aubameyang was going to drop the trophy as he didn’t carry it well

"I saw him walking with the bottom bit attached and I was like, 'you need to take that off!'. It seems the trend now anyway for people to drop the trophy,"
