Chelsea and Brighton share spoils in Pre-season friendly

Brighton and Chelsea met in a pre-season friendly at the Amex Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

It took just four minutes for Chelsea to take the lead with New boy Timo Werner scoring from a well placed header on from Callum Hudson-odoi.

In the Second half, Substitute Rudiger gave away a penalty to Brighton and Hove Albion, Cabellero guessed right and saved the resulting spotkick.

Brighton were awarded a penalty at the death after Aaron Conolly was fouled in the area, Pascal Gross stepped up to equalize for Brighton and Hove Albion.

The game ended as Chelsea and Brighton shared the spoils.

Elsewhere, The Chelsea Women won the FA community shield today beating Manchester City by two goals to nil.
